“Honoring the Legacy, Serving the Future”

Thank You To Our Title Sponsor!

Your Impact

Youth Tennis San Diego (YTSD) is thrilled to announce our Annual Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025! This year’s inspired theme, “Wimbledon Chic,” celebrates the timeless elegance of tennis and honors the lasting legacy of both Wimbledon and the Barnes Tennis Center—two institutions that have shaped the sport and our local community.

This special evening also marks a significant milestone: over 70 years since Youth Tennis San Diego was founded in 1952, and 30 years of YTSD’s leadership at the Barnes Tennis Center since 1995. Join us in commemorating decades of impact while supporting a future where all youth have access to the transformative power of tennis and education.

We invite you to become a VIP Sponsor, helping us provide life-changing opportunities to youth from under-resourced communities throughout San Diego. Your partnership fuels the work we do every day—removing financial barriers and creating access, equity, and mentorship through tennis and learning.

As a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Youth Tennis San Diego offers the Kathy Chabot Willette After School Tennis program, our free and reduced-cost, year-round programming that supports the physical, emotional, and educational development of local children. Our goal is simple but powerful: ensure that every child, regardless of zip code or background, has a chance to thrive.

In 2024, Youth Tennis San Diego, owner and operator of the Barnes Tennis Center and home to the Steve Adamson Tennis Academy, which offers programming from red ball to elite Academy training, proudly served nearly 3,000 youth across San Diego, not including the thousands of youth who played in tournaments provided by YTSD.

  • Total Participants: 3,000+

  • Free and Reduced Cost Program Participants: 1,330+

  • Programs Delivered: 50+

These totals include all off-site and on-site sessions across our Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons, spanning local parks, schools, and our flagship Barnes Tennis Center. Our free wheelchair tennis program, led by nationally recognized coaches, ensures the game remains inclusive and accessible to all.

Our impact extends far beyond matches and lessons—we operate the award-winning Barnes Tennis Center, home to:

• 25 tennis courts
• 19 pickleball courts
• 7 padel courts
• The Inspire360 Digital Lab, where youth blend sport with education and digital literacy

With the dedication of 50+ coaches, both onsite and across our partner locations, we’re building a powerful pipeline of mentorship, movement, and opportunity for the next generation.
