The Impact Cup Tennis

The Impact Cup Tennis 2025 promises an exhilarating day of team-based tennis competition at the award-winning Barnes Tennis Center, set against the backdrop of the 2025 Billy Jean King Girls Nationals. Teams of players, representing all levels of play, will go head-to-head, not only for the thrill of taking home the Impact Cup but also to fuel their mission off the court—raising essential funds to empower youth in our community.

This one-of-a-kind event combines the spirit of competition with a greater purpose, as we come together to provide free access to tennis and educational resources for the next generation. As each serve is struck and every game is won, our players will be reminded that tennis is more than a sport—it’s a powerful platform to set young lives on a path to success.

By supporting the Impact Cup, you join us in changing lives and creating brighter futures. Are you ready to rise to the challenge and make an impact?

Tournament Format

The Impact Cup is comprised of 6 teams. A team may consist of as many players as desired, but at the minimum, a team will consist of 8 players (two at each of the following levels: Open, 4.5, 4.0, and 3.5. The round-robin competition will see each team compete against every other team for 5 matches. Each match consists of 4 doubles lines (Open / 4.5 / 4.0 / 3.5) playing one set each.  A doubles pairing can consist of two women, two men, or mixed. Doubles pairings can change match to match, but must stay true to level. The total number of sets determines the winning team. If there is a tie, head-to-head results will determine the winner.

The Fundraising Effort

At the Impact Cup, team captains and players come together to make an impact both on and off the court. Each participant commits to a fundraising commitment of at least $2,500. Collectively, teams are encouraged to raise $30,000 or more, all in support of providing free tennis access and educational resources for youth in our community. Each team, captain, and player will have a personalized online fundraising page where you can track progress, tell your story of why you are involved, and engage with your network to support your efforts. YTSD supports you along the way with assistance in creating your page, social media outreach, email templates, or anything else that may help. Together, we’re striving to make a lasting difference for the next generation.
