After School Tennis
The Kathy Chabot Willette After School Tennis (AST) program is our signature outreach program where we give free or low-cost tennis to underserved areas of San Diego. Youth Tennis San Diego provides the instructors, equipment, and all necessities required to give opportunity to the youth of San Diego.
We have After School Tennis in the community at schools, parks, recreational centers, and on-site at Barnes Tennis Center!

Outreach Programs
Youth Tennis San Diego’s outreach programs are dedicated to providing free or low-cost tennis opportunities to underserved communities throughout San Diego. Through initiatives like our After School Tennis (AST) program, J.U.M.P. (Junior Tennis Underwriting Master Plan), and adaptive tennis programs, we aim to create accessible pathways for youth of all backgrounds to develop their tennis skills and build life-long values such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience. We partner with local schools and community centers to ensure that every child has the chance to play, compete, and grow, regardless of their economic circumstances. Our outreach efforts not only promote physical fitness but also empower participants with confidence and the opportunity to excel on and off the court.
