The Impact Cup Pickleball is more than a tournament—it’s a movement to bring free, high-quality pickleball and educational resources to youth across San Diego.

This peer-to-peer fundraising competition will directly support the launch and expansion of grassroots youth pickleball programs. Funds raised will go toward hiring coaches, providing equipment, and placing trained educators into schools to offer free after-school pickleball instruction and enrichment opportunities. With free youth Open Play every Sunday and a free clinic every Wednesday already in place, this initiative is gaining momentum—and Impact Cup Pickleball 2025 will take it to the next level.

At Youth Tennis San Diego, our goal is to empower the youth of our city through sport—and that includes pickleball. More than just a game, pickleball is a powerful tool for connection, mentorship, and opportunity—three essentials every child needs to thrive, both now and for the future.

With over 70 years of experience delivering impact through youth sports, YTSD has provided free and low-cost tennis programs to children in under-resourced communities, helping them build life skills, confidence, and resilience. We’re bringing that same dedication, passion, and expertise to pickleball.

Launching in Fall 2025, our youth pickleball movement is designed to break down barriers and provide free and affordable programs. With trusted school partnerships and a strong commitment to equity, we’re creating safe, supportive spaces where kids can learn, grow, and belong—on and off the court.
